In 1961, in the small village of Saint-Félix-de-Valois, a modest machine shop was born. No one could have predicted at the time that this company would become one of the most recognized names in the vocational trucking industry: The "Bibeau®" dump Body.

Thanks to the quality of its work, the company quickly experienced expansion. In response to the growing demand from its many customers, the company decided to diversify its activities by venturing into the field of plate work of all kinds. Thus, by the mid-1960s, the company had already produced a few truck dump bodies for local clients, without realizing that it marked the beginning of a remarkable adventure.

By the early 1970s, the production of dump bodies had grown enough within the company to become a fully independent department. The manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of dump bodies were now part of the daily routine. This was so true that by the mid-1970s, "Bibeau" dump bodies began to be exported to our southern neighbors.

In the 1980s, faced with the growing popularity of its dump bodies, Marcel Bibeau made a bold and significant decision: to abandon the machining and plate work industry and focus exclusively on the production of dump bodies, which would be distributed through a distribution network. This decision paid off, as by the mid-1980s, the product was so recognized that "Bibeau®" was accepted and registered as a trademark, both in Canada and the United States! Since then, the name "Bibeau®" continues to spread in the North American markets, while remaining synonymous with superior quality and reliability.

In over 60 years at the helm of the company, Marcel Bibeau, a passionate self-taught visionary, has reinvented himself many times and surprised the entire industry with his innovations. Despite his achievements and numerous successes, Marcel has always remained true to himself, never losing sight of his primary goal: not to become the biggest, but to remain the best!

In April 2014, Marcel Bibeau's daughter, Nathalie, acquired all the company's shares. Since then, she has continued to lead the company in her father's footsteps. Despite significant investments, both in infrastructure and equipment, the goal remains the same: to ensure that the name "Bibeau®" remains the symbol of the best product in the industry!
